AT THE PORNORCHESTRA?
PornOrchestra performances feature new work by musicians and visual artists that attempt, in their variety, to represent the broad spectrum of human sexuality in its emotional, economic, geo-political, aw heck, let's just say hermeneutical aspects.
The PornOrchestra is seeking new work for its Spring 2006 show. We're interested in:
- work that reflects the radical reinterpretation of the pornographic soundtrack genre.
- performances between 2 and 20 minutes in length
[JUST ASK ALFRED KINSEY]- collaborations between sound and visual artists presenting original and pre-existing film.
- solo and ensemble performance
- acoustic and electronic instumentation as well as voice
- composed and improvisational approaches
